Riding on Pittsburgh’s Three Rivers Heritage Trail Rider’s Point-of-View Time Lapse October 21, 2012

A time lapse rider’s point-of-view of traveling on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail System in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This ride, from October 21, 2012, was 17.7 miles long and took 91 minutes to complete. For the purposes of this YouTube video, it was time-compressed down to 14 minutes and 30 seconds.

Starting and ending at the prison trailhead, this ride goes through Pittsburgh’s North Shore, over the 16th Street Bridge near the Strip District, past The Point, over the Smithfield Street Bridge, past the Allegheny Jail, over Hot Metal Street Bridge to the South Side, down to Station Square, then back over the Smithfield Street Bridge to The Point, over the Fort Duquesne Bridge, past Rivers Casino, then back to the prison trailhead.
